There are three locations for the rehabilitation of orangutans at Tanjung Harapan, Pondok Tangui, and Camp Leakey.<br />
Borneo Orangutan has dark reddish fur and no tail.Inline with hte growth of age, adult males develop a cheek to form a cashion. The older, bigger cheek pads so that his face seemed grim.<br />
Tanjung Putting National park established by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve in 1977 and the Sister Park with state of Malaysia.<br />

<a href="http://madbie.blogspot.com/2011/05/tanjung-putting-national-park-orangutan.html">Tanjung Putting National Park</a> has several types of ecosystems consisiting of lowland tropical rain forest, dry land forest, freshwater swamp forest, mangrove forest, coastal forest, and secondary forest.<br />
This area is dominated by lowland forests plant such as jelutung ( Dyera costulata ), ramin ( Gonysttylus bancanus ), meranti ( Shorea sp ), Keruing ( Dipterocarpus sp ), and rattan.<br />
Endemic and rare species found in protected forests of Tanjung Putting National park, among others, orangutan ( Pongo Satyrus ), bekantan ( Nasalis larvatus ), red monkey ( Presbytis rubicunda rubida ), bear ( Helarctos malayanus euryspilus ), and jungle cat ( Prionailurus bengalensis borneoensis ).<br />

Wildlife in Ujung Kulon National Park consists of 35 species of mammals, 5 species of primates, 59 species of reptiles, 22 species of amphibian, 240 species of birds, 72 species of insects, 142 species of fish and 33 species of coral reefs.Endangered and protected animals other than Java rhinoceros is the banteng ( Bos javanicus javanicus ), ajag ( Cuon alpinus javanicus ), surili ( Presbytis Comata Comata ), langur ( Trachypithecus auratus auratus ), deer ( Cervus timorensis Russa ), leopard ( Panthera pardus ), stone cat ( Prionailurus bengalensis javanensis ), gibbons (Hylobates moloch ), and giant clams ( Tridacna gigas ).<br />
Ujung Kulon National Park is an interesting natural attractions, with the beauty of the symptoms and natural uniqueness of the jeramnya rivers, waterfalls, white sand beaches, hot springs, marine parks and cultural heritage / history (Ganesha statue, at Mount Mercury Panaitan Island).
