The same institution revealed that energy efficient car potential harm pedestrians. WHY ? Because when the electricity running mode and use the electric motor car drove the energy supplied from the battery, the car are run very quite. This makes pedestrians can not hear when the cars came over.

According to different studies, because it does not produce a loud sound, a hybrid 20% more likely to hit the pedestrians and make the injury compared with conventional cars.

The device itself is now a vailable on the third-generation hybrid car in production in Japan.
